DEEDS OF ORCHARD COTTAGE
1874 - 1970

The bundle of deeds are photocopies of the documents still held by the solicitors as they are still active; the property is not registered with the Land Registry as the land upon which Orchard Cottage stands has not changed hands for over one hundred years. The deeds cover transactions between 1920 but refer back to 1874. This explains why a number of more modern transactions have not been reproduced here. There are a number of vital documents here which help to explain the rather complicated property transactions that have taken place since 1920. My thanks to John Langley the owner for making these deeds available.
